The
group met during their postgraduate studies in London in 2001, and
have played together regularly since then. They have given recitals,
played for weddings, functions and corporate events and have played
internationally providing entertainment on cruise ships.
The girls of Terzina, Claire Capps,
Helen Neilson and Zoe
Rogers have given full recitals at prominent London venues,
including St James’ Church, Piccadilly and Southwark Cathedral.
They performed in the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2003. For these
concerts their programmes included works by Beethoven, Brahms and
Glinka, all of which are written specifically for this combination
of clarinet, cello and piano.
Terzina has proved a favourite with audiences touring
around the world on board the Minerva II, with Swan Hellenic cruises.
The group was recently awarded the top ratings for classical musicians
performing on board this year. Their cruising adventures have taken
them to Turkey, Greece, Croatia, Italy, Panama, Equador, Peru and
Chile. For this they provided mixed programmes including classical
favourites, songs from the shows, traditional music from the areas
visited and arrangements of popular songs.
Terzina is frequently invited to play at weddings,
functions and corporate events. During
wedding celebrations they are available to play during the ceremony
as well as afterwards at the reception celebrations. For parties,
they can perform pieces in a formal setting as you wish, or indeed
simply play in the background, adding to the atmosphere of your
event. For corporate events, you may wish to request a specific
piece of music which has perhaps been used to advertise your company,
or choose one which you feel reflects the ethos and spirit of your
business. |
