Terzina
is the perfect chamber music ensemble to add that special something
to your wedding day. Having live wedding music is a wonderful way
to add
to the
atmosphere
of your event. What else could compete with walking down the aisle
to the sound of live music, beautifully performed? It also gives
you
the perfect way to keep your guests entertained whilst you are signing
the register. Then we can help create the ambience you desire
for
the post-ceremony reception. From the elegant and stylish sounds
of Mozart and Bach, to the fun and lively music of Gershwin and
Joplin,
our repertoire list is varied and versatile. We will discuss the
details with you personally in order to ensure that we help to
create the
mood you wish for.
We can offer some suggestions of great wedding music to include
in your day, based upon experience of the wishes of previous
clients.
Why
not
walk down the aisle to the stately sound of Pachelbel’s
Canon? As you are signing the register, we could entertain
your guests with pieces such as Elgar Salut d’Amour
or Faure Pavane. Alternatively, you may like to choose
an operatic classic such as La ci darem la Mano from Mozart’s
“Don Giovanni”. As you exit from the ceremony,
you may like something more upbeat and lively such as Brahms
Hungarian Dance no. 5, or a movement from a Mozart Divertimenti.
Afterwards, at the wedding reception and dinner, Terzina can
provide a variety of musical styles to add to the mood of your
party. We
often find that our clients prefer us to open with more traditional
classical repertoire, including music by composers such as Mozart,
Beethoven and Boccherini. This sets the scene
with style and elegance for your guests arriving. As the champagne
begins to flow, you may wish the mood to liven up somewhat! At
this point we could move on to music from the shows, songs by
Gershwin
and Cole Porter, South American favourites and familiar popular
tunes at your request. For a small additional fee we can arrange
a particular tune for you if it does not already appear on our repertoire
list. Please ask us for further information about this service.
Terzina would usually dress in formal black dress in
order to blend subtly into the surroundings of your wedding day,
and to avoid
clashing with your chosen colour schemes. Please ask if you would
like us to consider an alternative dress code. |
